Morty A Studio Legend
Morty was an adorable little ginger cat who made the studio his kingdom. With a discerning eye and an even sharper sense of judgment, he'd perch himself in the perfect spot to critique every session, every riff, every decision. He wasn't just a studio cat he was the studio's conscience, the keeper of tone, the judge of all things musical.
For 8 years, Morty was there through it all. He watched amps get tested, pedals get tweaked, and ideas transform into reality. He was part of the creative process in a way only a cat can be present, opinionated, and utterly irreplaceable.
When cancer took him from us, I knew I couldn't let his memory fade. So I did what felt right and hunted down amps with "cat" in their names, I pulled pedals that were also cat theme and I made Morty the face of it all.
CATAMP isn't just an amp simulator. It's a tribute to a little orange legend who judged our tone and made us better. Every time you use it, Morty's there reminding you that great music comes from passion, precision, and a little bit of attitude.

Tighten the amp with SCREAM, add overdrive or distortion with SNARL, explore fuzz with HYPER, or bring chainsaw aggression with CHAOS. Their mode switches and MIX controls give you more ways to shape the front end.
MERCILESS DRIVE, OD-X + SWOLE
The expanded board adds the Vic Audio MERCILESS DRIVE and MERCILESS OD-X, including the OD-X PUSH switch. SWOLE adds thick fuzz with SUSTAIN, FILTER, LOUDNESS and MIX, plus CRUNCH and SCOOP switches.
