Oracle Sound

BETTER THAN WHAT I WAS WORKING WITH!!!!

Nasty sound

I already own Svartruna and Catamp, and I love Tyrant as much as those two. Oracle is officially my favorite ampsim company. Two different amps: one more focused and tight, the other is dirtier and foul. It’s hard to pick a favorite feature but if I had to pick just one it’s the IR loader that volume matches all of your IRs to match the sims output. Some of my favorite IRs have varying levels of volume so this amazing. The pedal sections is also such a welcome addition. Being able to mix in the sounds you dial in is amazing. I liked the voicing that Cat amp and Svartruna originally had, but being able to fine tune it has consumed hours of my life. Cheers, this is money well spent.

Another gem from Oracle Sound. The previous amps have filled the voids of dark and dirty (Svartruna), thick and sludgey (Slamp), warm and fuzzy (Catamp), and now Tyrant gives you all your aggressive sledgehammer tones on tap. The Thrash amp is surprisingly versatile given its name and can be far more articulate than the moniker might at first imply. It gives you everything from thick bodied cleans, through sizzly blues, washy grunge, heavy rock chonk, fatty bombatty rhythms, and all the way from singing through screaming leads. The Satan amp is pretty much a "Just add sledgehammer" button. It will cut through the densest mix like a plasma bladed chainsaw on 'roids. Though it can also be pulled back to give some great sheeny rock noises, but obviously is at its best when being utilised in full demolition mode. The pedal options are great and cover all the usual needs but also extend to weird and intriguing territory if you mess around with them at more extreme settings. The post fx time and space pedals cover a fairly wide range of textures, and add their character without sapping your tone of all your curated knob twisting. The post EQ is also quite handy and has a guitar-friendly softened response to easily trim unnecessary rumble and extraneous fizz. Some pedal based EQ's tend to either do either not very much, or far too much with small moves that don't make sense, but this one sits nicely in the middle and responds as you would expect. All in all, Tyrant is a very apt name for this plug! It does exactly what it says on the tin!

I don't know what else you could ask for in an amp plug-in. Your entire signal chain right here. Will load any of your profiles no matter which ones you use.

This is a cool idea. In ritual mode the gain knob lets you sweep through 5 captures and it does it very quickly, so you can automate it like your kicking on/off stomps. Saves having to load a gazillion instances and turning your processor into a potato.

Good stuff! I like the different levels of gain and pedal options. It ended up having way more than I expected and sounded great. I actually bought 2 other Nightmare packs from other places and they both are nowhere near as good as this one!

This app is awesome 😎👍

All the best!

Again perfect captures. It just take few minutes to adjust the parameters. I use the Nano and all your captures with the merciless drives kick ass. I love the sound. It’s just sad that tone chasing makes no more sense for me 😁

Amazing guitar plugin. Oracle Sound progress better and better, great job my friend! 5 stars of course!

It's maybe the best amp sim plugin I've ever used, and the story behind it makes it even better. Using it on recordings as I type this.

This plugin totally change my bass sound!

This is a fantastic amp sim!! Probably the fastest I’ve ever achieved a great tone, and was able to move on with tracking, without having to tweak everything for 20 minutes searching for a good sound!! Very well done!! A+

This is a very cool amp sim. I use it with my room IRs and layer it underneath my main tones. It makes everything open and huge. Also the fx pedals are actually decent. I don't ever use reverb or delay pedals, but these are actually very good. For $57 Canadian, can't get any better. Fair price for a great amp sim and the fact that my band is called punching kittens, having a cat on my amp is rather fitting. Buy this, it rocks!
