It is a character compressor for individual tracks, parallel buses and stereo groups: fast dynamics control, then harmonic colour, low-frequency weight and air from a single HARM knob, then stereo width you can push out to 150%.
Eleven ratios run from a gentle 1:1 to a Brit-flavoured 99:1 and an ALL IN setting that changes the whole character of the compression, not just the number on the knob.

The RATIO knob is not one compressor with eleven settings. Its last two positions swap the compression behaviour itself.
- 1:1 through 20:1 covers everything from gentle glue to firm control.
- 99:1 engages the more aggressive Brit character.
- ALL IN selects the Nuke character for extreme compression.
- Peak or RMS detection, plus a sidechain filter up to 300 Hz so the bass stops driving it.
At 1:1 the compressor steps aside while HARM, width, makeup and mix keep working — so it doubles as a colour box.
Harm. Wide. Mix.
Three knobs turn a compressor into a sound. HARM adds weight and air, WIDE opens the image, and MIX blends it all back against the original transients — with a delay-aligned dry path, so parallel compression works the way it should.
HARM
Low weight, air and subtle midrange harmonics alongside the compressor's own character, all from one knob. The colour processing runs at 2x oversampling. Bring it up while listening to the whole mix, then recheck your output level.
WIDE
Broadens the stereo image from its original width at 100% out to 150%. Widening acts mainly above the low-frequency region, so the bottom end stays centred. It does nothing on a mono track, and it is worth a mono check when the image matters.
MIX
Blend the compressed signal against the aligned dry signal, 0 to 100%. Because the wet and dry paths are delay-aligned, parallel compression adds weight without smearing the transients. Makeup sits before Mix, so it also sets the balance of the blend.

Dialled In Fast

AUTO MAKEUP estimates the makeup gain, corrects it against the headroom left after HARM and width, and adds output peak protection after the Mix. Or leave it off and set GAIN yourself.

THRESHOLD runs from -36 to +10 dB and ATTACK from 0.05 to 120 ms. RELEASE has eight positions from 20 ms to AUTO — or 1/128 to a full bar when Sync is set to Tempo.
